When you open the finder then by default it opens the recent folder but sometimes you want to customize it according to your need or most frequently visited folder. Follow the below steps to set the Mac Finder default folder with in a few seconds.
Step 1: Open Finder.
Step 2: In the top navigation of finder, click on the finder and select preferences from the dropdown menu.
Step 3: In the preference window select general tab (It will be selected by default), Click on the dropdown labeled “New Finder window Show” select the folder that you want to open when you click on the finder.
Congratulation!! you have customized your default finder folder.
